FUNDRAISERS

The Chamber Invitational Golf Tournament is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4th at the LeBaron Hills Country Club in Lakeville, Massachusetts.  This popular golf tournament begins with registration and lunch at 11:30 a.m., followed by the shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.  The tournament will be played in a 2-Ball Bramble format and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. 

The 2-Ball Bramble starts off just like a scramble (the members of each team tee off, and the best drive is selected).  After the best drive is selected, all players play from that spot, but will continue to play their own ball stroke play style until each has holed out, producing four individual scores. In a 2-Ball Bramble, the two low balls are scored.  

The cost to participate is just $150 per player which includes a full lunch, 18 holes of golf, bottled water during play, gift bag full of goodies, awards ceremony and dinner!  Proceeds of this tournament support the efforts of the New Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce in our mission to enhance education, economic development, and tourism in our region.

A Night in Monte Carlo

Held annually in November, this upscale fundraiser takes over the entire Hawthorne Country Club. Guests are treated to a soirée to remember including an open bar, a bountiful buffet, casino, jazz band, disco, dance band, comedian, and much more.
